Our Strategy

GatewayC is dedicated to helping primary care professionals detect cancer earlier

We are determined to be the leading early cancer diagnosis resource for our users.

Our focus

Our plan targets where we can make the biggest difference to primary care professionals.

Inspired by the NHS Long Term Plan to detect more cancers at stages 1 and 2 by 2028

Informed by what is happening in the NHS and how we can be of most use

Designed to improve knowledge, confidence, referral quality and patient communication

Objective 1

For all GPs, clinicians, students, and anyone else who needs help to regularly use GatewayC and view it as the most impactful early cancer diagnosis resource available.

We’re known for our courses, but other primary care professionals may not be aware we can support their daily practice through our other resources.

We want the current and future primary care workforce to be aware of the essential information and support we provide, and complete regular essential training.

Objective 2

To work collaboratively in the NHS and with partners, making GatewayC widely available to reduce patient inequalities and diagnose more cancers earlier.

We want to expand our reach to expand our offering across the UK and beyond to increase the impact of our work.

All primary care professionals should have access to our resource, no matter their location. Whenever, wherever.

Objective 3

To complete further research to demonstrate impact. We want to undertake and publish new assessments of our impact on practice. Our goal is to continually inform, support, innovate and improve.
