#hellomynameis – Jonny, GatewayC’s Learning Technologist

With communication at the heart of GatewayC and fundamental to improving patient care, this blog series focuses on introductions and reflections from the team behind the programme.

In this post, we’re introducing Jonny, GatewayC’s Learning Technologist.

Could you tell us about your role?

I provide technical and design support in the development and delivery of the GatewayC project. I am also responsible for the administration of the GatewayC Moodle platform.

What made you want to support the GatewayC programme?

For personal reasons, as my family has been affected by cancer – my uncle had lung cancer and my mum has had benign tumors.

What makes GatewayC unique?

I feel that the best thing about GatewayC is that the courses can be accessed from any location, due to its online nature so it’s ready when you need it.

Finally, could you tell us an interesting fact about yourself?

I have a 50 word short story published in a book!
